Eckhart Tolle has a DVD called Findhorn Retreat: Stillness Amidst the World. The small book that comes with two DVDs features photographs taken personally by Eckhart and selected quotations from the retreat. In the Foreword it reads, "In the spring of 2004, Eckhart Tolle led an extraordinary weekend retreat at Findhorn, Scotland, a spiritual community on the leading edge of personal and global transformation. When Eckhart came to Findhorn, true magic happened. The whole retreat was captured on video and carefully edited to create two deeply moving two-hour DVD experiences."

In the Introduction, we learn a little more about the magic of Findhorn, Scotland, "The Findhorn community in Scotland came into existence in the sixties, based upon a deepening relationship between humans and the realm of nature. A new relationship with nature is an essential aspect of the awakening of human consciousness. Eckhart goes on to explain in the book, "When we came together for the weekend retreat in the magical environment of Findhorm, the birds, trees, flowers, the wind, the sea, the forests and rivers became our teachers. Teachers of what? Teachers of stillness. Teachers of present moment living, of surrender to Now. Teachers of Being."

Hi Debbie, Eco villages, sustainable fuels and surplus residue being used as an energetic basis for lives purpose and planetary healing is the way forward in terms of being, loving, living and embracing Mother Earth and her deep sensitivity at this time. ......... I have visited and stayed at Findhorn , the space is powerful in its simplicity and beauty, the energy is deep and accepting , the environment is loved and the inhabitants are joyous beyond expectation of anything other than living in this natural resource of nature and creation. So much fun is extended and shared , openings for the heart embraced and seen as a gift also , it is a place called "home" . I would like to see ourselves and our global family as an extension of Mother Earths principals of natural qualities , the gift of life and its freedom being uppermost and our ability to create within the cells of our being brings a community of joy and shared respect for each other and our own natural gifts........
